Rant on:

I love this forum, I really do, for the information here, for the helpful members, and just for entertainment.

But, I just tried to search for any posts related to the RCBS 9mm 124TC mold. I tried several ways to search, with either "no results" or a slew of extraneous threads that didn't seem to have any bearing on the search I requested.

Sooooo, I Googled the same information and came up with about 5 different threads in.......wait for it.....this forum.

Rant off:

I have been using the "advanced search" function with much better results.

I have much better luck going out to Yahoo, typing in what I'm searching for and including castboolits in the search. Works well for me.

Try this: https://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=001951264366462437169:ggn3vg-bjum

I don't know who originally made this, but they're a friggin' genius!

You can search the whole forum, or go to the forum you want and look for the Search This Forum at the top right.

Hats off to Montana Charlie. I have used the google search for our sight many many times. It just seems so much easier and gives more to the point sights.
Thanks again MC.

I used to use Google.

Now I use duckduckgo.com

they are as good a google but.

They do not store your IP address or your search query.
They do not send your IP or search query to the site you navigate to.

For more information on why I don't use Google any more:

With any search engine just put "CastBoolits" before what you want to search for. You will get the results for this forum.

I got really frustrated with duckduckgo.com. I couldn't figure out how to refine searches to keep the BS matches away.

You can do a site search from any search engine. Its easy and works for any site, here is how it works: enter what you are searching for then the word site: the the web page you want to search. Here is the example for your search, copy and paste it into any search engine.

RCBS 9mm 124TC site: castboolits.gunloads.com

I use this type of search all the time. Hope this helps.

The search function certainly does suck here, both regular and advance. Most of the time I also get "no results found". I've tried it every way from Sunday.....sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.
