fair price for linotype?

I have a local print shop with linotype to sell. What would a fair price be? I will also 'search' in the 'Fore Sale Forum'.

2 dollars a pound is almost unattainable on eVil bAy. I'd buy all I could get for a dollar a pound. Frotometals is asking about 3.00 a pound I think.

Buying in bulk from the print shop, about a buck a pound would be a good price. You may be able to get it cheaper than that. Resale on a forum like this, you could get more selling in small lots.
