I'm fairly new to reloading with lead bullets. I loaded up some Missouri Bullet 124gr .356" to 1050fps and fired them in my Beretta 92FS. I fired 65 rounds total. I have not slugged the bore, but most Berettas are usually somewhere around .357 - .358". What should I be looking for in terms of leading? Will it completely cover the bore or just be in the grooves? I cleaned the bore very well using about 15 patches and several strokes with the copper brush. I used the metal tip of a mechanical pencil to scrape right behind the crown and saw just a tiny bit of lead (visible in the 2nd photo).
When using lead bullets, will there always be lead present, even a small amount?
