Does anyone know where I can get a main spring, or V spring made for an old 28 gauge percusion shotgun. When I bought it, the part was broken, and lost. I will probably need to ship the lock to someone. Any help would be great. Thanks

Dixie gun works is a possibility.

Another thought is Track of the Wolf. Their catalog has full size pictures which can be handy for comparing the item you need or want to identify to what they offer for exact size and shape. I think it costs $10 but it's sure a handy reference material if you do much with ML's.

If you want to save ten bucks you can download the catalogue free. http://www.trackofthewolf.com/Categories/PartDetail.aspx/303/1/CATALOG-18

It is a great catalogue and worth the ten bucks.

I just ordered a generic v spring from Dixie. They also have spring steel to make your own.

Hope that helps.
