Who makes night sights for the Desert Eagle 1911G?

Does anyone have a DE 1911G that have installed night sights? If so, what sights?

Your best bet is to contact Magnum Research and ask them which sight cut they use.

Your best bet is to contact Magnum Research and ask them which sight cut they use.Yeah, the sight cut seems to be the question. Some say Kimber sights will fit while others say the cut is different.

It's hard for me to justify another 5" 1911 but last nite I handled one of those DE 1911's. Super smooth, well finished and terrific trigger but the sights would be a problem for me. I'm sure you could send the slide off to any number of places for new sights but it would be nice to know what fits the DE.

Well, I have both, A DE 1911G and a Kimber, both full size 5" barrels. The sights look the same but I'll have to take em off to see if they will interchange. Even they both have a Allen head screw holding them down, I have to use my sight pusher to get them out. I was hoping someone knew because I hate to go through the trouble of removing them both and swapping to see if they fit.
