Steel T/C Contender Micrometer sight windage screw - left hand!

As I was looking at the long, steel T/C made Contender rear sight (it isn't a Williams), the windage screw looked a bit odd. Righty, tighty, lefty, loosy. Uh-uh. The threads go the other way. Turned the screw with my thumbnail in the thread, counterclockwise results in the screw going into the tapped hole. Reminds one of "Walk on the Wild Side".

Where is a LH 6-40 tap when you need one?

Well, shee-ite. Just googled and there are 6-40 LH everywhere....
