Your going to love that mold. I spent two hrs. casting with my new mold today and I have never enjoyed casting more than with a Accurate mold. Fire up the pot.

So far, I've been using one of his molds for the .45ACP and have been doing okay with it. No complaints at all.

My brother-in-law is in need of a mold for his .45 Colt so we'll probably get one of those here soon as well!

Very nice. I have not tried an Accurate mould nor an aluminum mould. Hey, my lead is pretty clean and even pre-steilized [>140 deg C] so send one of those my way and I will pour some of my special clean lead into it! I promise you will get it back..........eventually.

I have his 45-200H in a 4-cavity iron arriving any day now. Got word it shipped a few days ago. His work is supposed to be some of the best. Can't wait to see for myself.

Enjoy the new toys!

Which designs did you get?

At the risk of sounding like a complete moron, I didn't keep a note and none of the confirmation docs I kept have it on there. :facepalm

So, that said, one is a 147gr 9mm FP (36-140T, I think) and the other is a 38/357 SWC (36-158B or C, if I'm not mistaken). The two look nearly identical to the eye.

My two accurate moulds (both aluminum and steel) are the most difficult to get perfect bullets and fussy about what alloy to use. I emailed Tom asking if he could cut horizontal vents like RCBS does and he answered "i am not equiped to do so"

My RCBS moulds are way easier to cast with and will cast perfect bullets using any of my alloys. I am sure RCBS has better design venting.

Now, dadgummit, convince RCBS to make some 4 cav units !! Mike

So far, I've only used one Accurate mold and so far, am having great success with it.

I have heard, however, that it's a bit more tricky to cast the smaller boolits, however, we'll see what happens when I get there. Hopefully, tomorrow!

All of them little ones are impossible to cast from.

Send them to me and for a reasonable fee I will keep you from a terminal case of casters frustration.:bigsmyl2:

I have bought literally dozens of Tom's molds and have never had any issue with getting perfect boolits
of course I will take a couple of casting cessions to get 100%
not to say that its not possible I just haven't had that issue

I wish he cut molds smaller than 30 caliber. I have a few quarter bores that I want to cast for.

I'll be more than happy to buy your molds so you can buy some rcbs molds to replace them. I have cast brass iron and aluminium from and the bullets just fall out his molds are all I own and the only ones I look at when I need a new bullet. So like I said send me a pm and the info and your price
