woohoo!

just got a 4 cavity a few days ago. this is my first wadcutter mold. i had a lot of fun with it today
can't wait to shoot some of these little guys!

this is the best i could do with my iPhone.

what alloy do you guys use for wadcutters? these are cast 50/50 COWW and Pure.

i have a 2 cavity 35891 i messed around with today also. seemed to work just as nice, but the 4 cavity really ups the production. i think i'll keep working with that and maybe cut down the 35891 or trade it off here.

The alloy is fine as long as it is making good bullets. If it is not, you will need to add a little tin. The smaller the bullet, the more likely it is that you will have to add tin.

COWW is almost pure, so you have a very soft bullet. I've made mine out of range scrap which is soft, but not as soft as yours, and it works well. Plus, it's free!
