I was excited to fire up my new Lee 4-20pot this afternoon. Opened the box that I had ordered from Midway and to my surprise there was no lever or valve assembly. The box was stapled closed so I assume it came this way from Lee. The heavy metal knob was in the box with the pot but no lever or valve assembly. Has anyone else experienced this? I am not sure if I will return this to Midway or to Lee.

I would call lee. I ordered 2 Lee 4-20 Lee Pots from Midway and had no issues with them missing parts when they showed up.

One of my pots came without the shelf. A friend borrowed it and put one on from an old broken pot but Lee would have sent a new one.

Just call Midway, they'll likely send you another pot.

Midway offered to replace the pot. Lee is reviewing the pictures that I sent so I will see what they suggest to do next.

My Lee pots didn't have missing parts but my upgrade to the RCBS one did. The box was opened and the handle was missing. Without it I cannot operate the furnace. Optics Planet just got my shipping label for exchange to me today. My wife contacted them Christmas through email. To be fair, they gave us a 10% credit when I asked for a discount. I'll try to get it shipped today.

I want them to fix it. I could have called RCBS or fashioned somethings else. I can wait for the right parts.

Mine was not missing parts, but it sure was a pain to deal with. It was leaking lead all over the place. It finally stopped as I was calling Lee.

I got one right after Christmas, it came complete and after studying the manual I've used it with no problems. It's a great improvement over my 10 lbs pot on a Coleman stove.

I run two of these pots with no problems.... Anytime I have a problem with any Lee product I have sent them an email and replacements were sent at no charge the next day... Great service

Mine was not missing pats. But I did throw away the wood handle. Still haven't gotten around to making one for it.
