Anyone try the powder coat boolits in Glocks. I shoot a G34 in compition and it would be way cheaper than j words.

So far I have shot about 1000 flat black PC boolits out of my G21. No feeding or leading problems so far. Unique lit off by CCI primers.

Ive shot PC bullets in my stock glock 17, 19, and 26 barrel with no leading. No worries, go ahead and take the plunge.

Well took the plunge. Went to HF and got they're system and it seems too work surprisingly good. I have to say I have had my problems with the junk they sell but have had good luck with some of it. This works good! I did hve some problems right at the bases of the boolits but I think I saw something about using hardware cloth instead of a cookie sheet. I think it will help. Any other tips?

Thanks for your help!
Ben

will powder coated bullets be affected by the case swaging in 9mm cases if conditions are not ideal?

Load the PCd boolits like you would lubed lead. If you are swaging lead during seating you probably will with PCd. I've been powder coating everything since last spring and enjoying great success. 9mm works very well and looks great to boot. Im not shooting through Glock 9mm barrels as I use a Lone Wolf conversion to shoot 9mm through my G22C, and my G23. The 40 S&W shoots great through the Glock barrel, and the compensator ports on the 22 don't have lead or carbon buildup as before.

The .380s shoot as well as the 45 ACP 1911. I have shot some Lee 358-158 RF PCd at 1250 fps from the .357 without leading but then I didn't get leading with that boolit and regular lube. The main reason I wanted to try PCd boolits was for my Mini 14 and AR in .223/5.56, and look forward to my 300 blk upper to arrive. After shooting cast/lubed since the 1970s, I'm very sold on ESPC boolits. Shiny brass and a black boolit looks awesome, and the bore stays shiny and clean in all applications, especially the Glocks.
