Looking for Corbin S-press compatible punch holders to make life a bit easier, just not at 50 bucks a pop. Anyone have any suggestions?

The Blackmon punch holder would probably work.

Make them out of 7/8 bolts

I have made a number of punch holders using junk 220 swift sizing or seater dies. I heat them cherry red with a torch & quickly bury them in non-clumping cat litter (dry sand would work too). I do this in a small cast iron pot that I then put on the stove burner set on low heat, the object being to cool it slowly. I can then tap it for a 1/2 in grade 8 bolt. I turn the bolt to the desired punch diameter and relieve it slightly leaving a punch head of about 1/2 in. Screw the bolt into the threaded die body and the thread slop makes the punch floating. A lock nut locks the punch in the punch holder just like both of the Corbin's punch holders. This way I can turn any diameter or length of punch I need. Very useful for core seat punches for tapering jackets or copper tubing jackets. I usually find the junk dies in boxes of "stuff" at gun shows for only a few bucks.

The Blackmon punch holder would probably work.

Larry's are 7/8"-14 tpi and are well priced.

Not sure if CH4D still retail theirs; or only do bulk supply, but they were well priced also.

The Blackmon punch holder would probably work. And his prices are about half the 50 mentioned.

I found a used CH-4D .357 sizer die at the gunshow with 1/2 X 20 threads for the decapper stem.
Spent the princely sum of five bucks.
