At work today I found 800+ pounds of sheet lead. I assume it is soft as it is in rolls 3 ft long. It appears it be about 1/8 inch thick but I did not measure. It is very clean. So what is this worth as I can buy it. Also what is it good for? I assume it can be mixed with tin for boolits. Does anybody think that lead is going away or going to get harder to get? Thanks for your input.

If you can get it for less than $1 a pound, buy as much as you can afford. You can add 2% tin to make good boolits.

Not much, but if you want to send it my way I'm sure I can find something to use it for[smilie=1:.

Seriously, if you have the opportunity to get that much virgin sheet lead (assuming the price is right) then grab it. As to the price, I couldn't say but I'm sure others will chime in with a suitable valuation.
