My friend and colleague, Ken Neeld (see his posts on the ARTCA Message Board at <www.antiquereloadingtools.org> under "20th Century Tools...") is trying to get in touch with Dr. Ken Howell, author of the 1987 "Handloader's Manual of Cartridge Conversions", who - a couple of years ago - was proposing the development of a Powley Center of Ballistic Research, in memory of ballistician Homer Powley. When last heard of a few years back Dr. Howell was in poor health. Does anyone here know of his present situation, and how Ken might get in touch with him?

Post here, or PM me if you can help. Thanks.

Doug Elliott

Was still on 24CF I knew. I think he used to post here but got in a scuffle with someone and left IIRC. Smart guy, opinionated, usually right, did a heck of a job as Editor of Handloader, etc.

Thanks to all who responded on Ken Howell; I've passed the info on to Ken Neeld.
