Not sure if this is the right place to post, got a nice whitetail yesterday, but did not use cast. Instead I used a 2008 Kia Rondo! Worked great but probably cheaper to use a Boolit/bullet of some kind. Just waiting for the shop estimate. Tim:(

Don't think of it as body work. Think of it as reloading the round!

2008 Kia Rondo
Based on my two personal experiences with a 1984 Isuzu pickup and a 1988 Bronco II, a 2008 Kia Rondo is not a heavy enough caliber to use on deer!

Wrong instrument to get a deer with. a boolit would have been much cheaper. Sorry for your mishap.

So that's what I'm doing wrong! I need to use something with 4 wheels to get a deer, not something with .430 dia.... :)
One law that I hate in TX after you shoot one with a vehicle you have to leave it on the side of the road to rot when there is plenty that would take it to eat.I think a game warden can take it to soup kitchen but I am not sure of that.
Dang. That must be one heck of a big mold!

Deer strikes are pretty common in my area, seems some deer just have a death wish. Good luck with the insurance company, may be time for new transportation. Wonder if anyone makes a HD front end replacement for your KIA?

Now try to figure out the FPS and energy that Kia needed to kill that deer.

Been there, done that a dozen times. I live next to RIT, that should tell you something. Sorry Tim.
