A friend is dropping off his bersa for me to look at, I am not a gunsmith but can fix most gun problems that don't need special tools.
He says the trigger is not returning all the time. It's a da/as pistol and from looking at the exploded view it looks like it might be a broken or binding trigger return spring.

Anyone have any experience with these guns and this problem?

Maybe a good cleaning with some of the aerosol cleaners would help. Wash the crud out of the frame and trigger area.

My sons has a wire spring the runs by the right side grip. If the notch is not deep enought the spring slips out. Google Bersa Thunder 380 . Hard to explain on line

I had a thunder 9 doing the same thing. Emailed Bersa and they sent a new spring. Took it to a local gunsmith and he said it was a booger to put in. Said he had to totally disassemble the gun. But he did it, and it fixed the problem. My spring was just weak, not broken.

Thanks guys, I thought that would be the problem but never hurts to ask those with more experience.

Apparently a standard issue on that gun, I have seen it mentioned
several times as a warranty issue.
