Brass cased 308 suitable for whitetail??

I see some of you are making 308's from 5.7 cases. anyone tries hunting with them?? Wondering if they would be suitable for whitetail?? Ony one using a caseing for 7mm "7mm-08, 7 mauser, 280"????

YEP! I have taken two Oregon mule deer with 30 cal bullets from 5.7 brass. They expand rapidly yet the thick brass base does the job! I shot them at 3000FPS though out of a 300WM! Slowed down a bit in a 308 they should work even better. I didn't get to recover any bullets. Shot one in the neck and the other in the head.
