Went to the local gun store today to pick up some primers. The owner collared me when I walked in the door, just like he always does. I bought a Henry Big Boy 44 from him in September. He says, "Here's one right up your alley." It is a very gently used Henry H001 22 blued, not the Golden Boy. I thought my BB was smooth, but this 001 is crazy smooth. My wife says, "You may as well get it. It's too good a price to pass up". I love that woman! Anyway, $279 and $10 NCIC and the Henry and a box of Stingers was riding in the back seat of the truck. Now if this Artic Circle weather will go away I have a range trip coming up. Damned expensive box of primers though.

They have the best customer service I've ever seen as well. I hope you never need it.

She did me the same way when I bought my Big Boy back in September. I own both my Henry's because of her. She is surely a keeper.

Jim,
As mentioned above it sounds like you have good one. Hold on to her. I have a good one too. My wife is responsible for my owning my Perazzi target shotgun. I love it! and her!. Good ones are hard to find. Wifes, that is.

By your thread title I was going to say, 'keep practicing that line for the wife' but since was the encourager that was moot. Now I'm thinking you need to see how many more times you can get away with it in the new year! Lol

This is actually the third time she has done this. First time was almost two years ago with a Browning Citori Satin Hunter. Maybe she can't stand to see me drool?
