That is some good craftsmanship. I really like the engraving on it. Seems to all go together really well.

That is sweet. I hate it when you guys post the nice stuff, then I have to go an look and the next thing I know my wife and daughter comment that another box came for me ;)
I know if I have to ask I can't afford but what would something like that go for? I know it is a custom item but that is a work of art.

I don't have a horse or live where I could even ride, but that is where that "case/holster" belong...On a horse, on open land, and clean air. Some buffalo to hunt would be nice also. Think I was possibly born too late for the lifestyle I would like to live.

That is made to use Indiana Jones style or something, not a saddle scabbard. It isn't my cup of tea, but does look like some nice leatherwork.
I have a tooled leather gun case I was given years ago, and never use because it is just not something you actually use.

That's a fine piece of history there, Bill. That's more my style. The one the OP posted is a might too fancy for me, but a very nice piece of work.

Dad was a saddle maker and gunsmith as a sideline. This is the left tapadero from a saddle he made in 1955.
