A new convert

My friend Scott has been hunting my woods with a .44 RH. I talked him into trying the revolver so he borrowed one. He watched a 10 point and a 6 point battling about 100 yd's out. They left and 4 doe came past him, then 6 more so he waited and the 6 point came behind them. He shot and it dropped in it's tracks, wiggled a little and died. He used my 330 gr hardcast. He was amazed and is very excited. I think he will be buying his own revolver soon.

Yes, I killed my first deer with a pistol yesterday - thanks to Jim, who is a true gentleman and vast storehouse of hunting knowledge. This fall he has not only hosted my hunting on his land, he has taught me a great deal about casting bullets, bow hunting, and pistol shooting. I also got the nicest 7 point I've ever shot with a bow with his guidance. Thanks man! Can't wait for my next lesson - :drinks: Bioman
