I am in a dilema...... 45/45/10 works and reloads are long term storeable for almost all my guns with cast. I need suggestions for a lube for my 310 grain .4315 lee wide flat nose gas check boolits( ACWW) i need a lube with cold bore accuracy for deer hunting in a 44 mag rifle( cold bore +4 to 5 shots on the occasional drives as a watcher). temps would be -5 to 75 degrees, in speeds in 1100 to 1450 FPS shots never over 120 yards. My choices are Ben's Red the Green lube Randy rat sells or buy sprue plate lube and make it with beeswax. Or for this application only buy a lube i want to dip/pan them and use in a push thru .432 sizer..500 to 1000 rds every 4 to 6 years ...so what should I do?

Send a PM to 357 Maximum and ask for the current recipe for MML. It works great in cold weather.

I push that boolit out of the 444 at 1800 using 45/45/10 seems to work as good as anything my hunting conditions vary about the same temps
I use Randy's TAC soft in there too works good also great pan lube and smells so much better than tumble lube(:

MML or TAC #1. Both are well-proven, no-cold-barrel-flyer, cold weather lubes.

Bens' Red Is real good around here as first shot fliers go,we don't have the extreme low temps but it gets plenty hot in the summer.

Just let me know with a PM and I'll send you a sample of my TAC 1..........I hunt with it in cold weather, one of the few lubes that work in a cold environment out of a cold barrel.
You also don't get lube buildup with purges and fliers.
There will be a nice lube star on your Crown and a bullet with no lube on it in your target.
Your barrel will have a super thin layer of protection left behind after each shot.
No need to swab the bore down, just wipe outside of the gun and put it away. I have not cleaned the barrel of my 1949 336 in 5+ years and I use it a lot. It is my Baseline gun for testing and hunting

Cool boolits and lube that isn't too warm, just barely liquid, will do a fine job of dip coating.
