I was wondering what bullets you shoot in your 32s? What would a full wadcutter be used for? I have a couple of H&G wadcutter molds and no 32. I am wondering if this is a gun I need to start looking for.

Thanks,

Crabo

I'm using the Lee 312-100-LRN. Works well for me. It's a large duty mould for me. i use it in my .32 mags, 7.62x25mm, and as a light plinker in .30 cal rifles.

Hi Sk,

What diameter does that Lee 312-100LRN drop out of the mold at? What kind of accuracy? Any load info?

And crabo...those guns are just no fun so ya might as well sell me one of those H & G molds before you get tempted and buy a .32. It could turn into a real sickness...just warning you.

I shoot the Lee 100 Keith Group buy (casts .314" and I size to .313") and the .314" (and as cast diameter) 120 gr GB sized .313" in all four of my .32's.

If by "32" you mean the 32 S&W Long......my go-to mould is the RCBS 98 SWC. It does fine work in the 32 Magnum, too.

I have many 30/32 caliber handgun calibers and platforms, and over a dozen mould designs to service them. The Lee 100 grain RN is a good multi-purpose boolit, and my castings fall free at about .3115". It is a little skinny for the 32 revolvers, but does well in the autopistols. Another multi-purpose 30/32 handgun boolit is the Lyman #313249, which falls free at .313" and shoots very well in revolvers and autopistols. It shoots VERY well in my Walther PP in 32 ACP, and in the 7.65 MAS/M-1935 French service pistol.

Crabo, if you want to unload one of those H&G 32 moulds let me know. I would be interested. I will add that I shoot Lyman 3118 out of my sp101. I had one cavity hollowpointed by Buckshot.

The 32 S+W Long was, once a upon a time, a Bullseye gun. It excelled in that application in such platforms as the S+W K-32, Colt Officers Model Match and some Walther auto loaders I think. It's also an almost perfect field gun or woods walking gun. A 100 gr WC at 850 fps is going to bring the bunny home for sure.

No, you don't need to hunt up a 32. You'll spend years looking for a good one and far too much money when you finally find it. Better to sell me those moulds and use the funds towards a nice Kel-Tek or Davis 25.

I think it drops out at .313 to .314. I never measured for accuracy, but it's accurate enough that I enjoy shooting it and will continue to use it.
