9265992660Has anybody seen a bullet swage press like this before? Just picked this one up at a flea market. It looks to be set up for 45 caliber pistol half jacket style boolits.

Looks like a herters 9 ton press.

IIRC, that is the Herter's 9-ton swage press.

Just curious, how much?

SweatPea,
it was in a basket for reloading stuff I gave $50 for. The old guy was so impressed that I knew what it was. He told me it was for free. I couldnt sell it to anybody, I had to bring it back to him if I want to get rid of it so I told him it was a deal. He gave me the whole basket of reloading supplies for free and was happy as a lark when I left. I got about 45 minutes worth of instructions on how to do swage with half-jackets before he cut me loose. Fun day at La Pulga!

long story short, he got 50 bucks and I got a new friend. We'll see how this goes I ended up getting a couple of samples of core mold from him, as well as a old drilled out Lee Mold. I can't wait to bolt down to th3 bench and tro squeeze some lead with it.

I remember "elkhunter" here on our forum either made one like that or posted pics similar.

It looks just like the Herter 9 ton bullet swag press.
I have one, and when I got it, a search on this forum identified it.
