Is there a good resource to learn about High Standard 22lr pistols?

Hey all,

I've been looking at the classic target pistols, and my local dealer has a couple of High Standards and Colt Woodsmans.

I was trying to find some info on the High Standards online, but there doesn't seem to be any good contiguous information on these pistols.

Is there a good resource out there?

Charles Petty the gun writer had written a history of the High Standard pistol many moons ago. cannot recollect the title, but try googling his name and see what comes up.

What is it you need to know? I collected the old pre-War targets and competed with the late types. I may be able to answer some specific questions. PM me if you wish.
