Reclaimed my Pro Melt from my step dad, as he no longer casts. He's had it at his house for several years. I've been making due with a 20 lb drip-o-matic. Cleaned her out good this morning, not sure what alloy he had in it. Got it fired up, and was only planning on casting about 100 boolits for a test, wound up running two pots worth! Forgot how nice these things are. No lead towers under the spout, and it sure doesn't waste any time getting back up to temp when you refill it. Love, true love....

everyone should save extra money and get the promelt RCBS. I had a lee, oh well ya try to explain to people about the promelt. They just have to learn the hard way. Yea, if your getting ready to buy a lee, stop and save some more money for the rcbs.

It's ok to love your Pro Melt, it's not ok to LOVE your Pro Melt..

And if you do LOVE your Pro-Melt I'll bet you can't LOVE both sides at once.

It was one of those "let me use it for a couple of days" things. Amazing how LONG a couple of days can be!

Kinda like what I say to people that ask about my Frau and I being married 45+ years. "I didn`t realise that PAIN could last that long"!Robert
