XDs needs to go back

went to the range today with XDs 45 not happy got it back last week put 150/200 rounds through it
ran like a champ today not so good first two magazines 5 rounders 10 shots alls good next mag ZIP
ok racked slide new round same thing ZIP racked slide dropped magazine out then i see a small piece
of plastic fall out.*** just got it back gave springfield a call they were helpful looks like the trigger safety
broke so back it goes they said they would flag it and fix asap but come on i just got this back.

Well that sucks.......my Dad was looking at the xds or the compact xdm 45s, he went with the xdm. Seems like the xds line has had some issues that Springfield Armory needs to iron out.

ya it does look that way not happy with them at all right now i dont want to Bash them right now
i hope they make things right but i tell you a new 7 rd mag won't do it this time..

Think I will wait a little longer to send mine back. Have had zero problems with in the as built condition and they are trying to get them fixed too fast.

I bought a XDS and really like the gun. I was going to buy the xdm but changed my mind at the last minute because I was wanting a concealed carry bigger than my 38 special. I only had time to shoot 100 round thru the gun with out any problems using reloads that on use in my Dan Wesson 1911 which is a awesome pistol. Again so far I really like the XDS but would never give up my 1911.

Thanks for the heads up. After mine got back, think I have around 600+ rounds through with no problems. Will be looking for this one now though. Surprised Love Life can't hear all of the noise to the east of his house on top of Jack Wright pass.

this was a broke part on the trigger safety.had to go back to springfield for them to fix it

I have a XDs that is like it was from the factory. I have thought I would send it in after the big rush. I have never had an issue with it. Mine shoots great and runs perfect. At this time I think I am going to just wait and see. I just like it the way it is. Ron
