I recently got a mailing from NRA to renew my membership early offering a $500 lifetime member option. Wasn't there a $300 option sometime before the elections in 2012? Do they do that before every election cycle? Joe

They vary their offers from time to time. I remember getting one offer a few years ago for $285. When I became a life member, they included an offer I could sign up family or friends as life members for $300. each, but the offer was only good for 30 days after my initial date.

Not a Vet. I may call them and see what they are offering. Even $500 if I could pay it off over 6 mos. would be workable for me. Joe

I asked about the $300.00 offer again this year and an N R A rep told me to watch for another offer around the next National meeting.

Not sure if it will only be for those at the meeting or open to all again like last year.

I just upgraded last year from Life to Endowment....I paid it out for a year at $25.00/mo.....you might contact them as see what is available for Life Membership .....

After Sandy Hook there was a $300 deal for life membership and a $250 deal to upgrade from life to endowment. Payments were stretched over 10 months. I just got through paying for my upgrade.

Call the membership division. Tell them you are going to give them $300 for a Life membership. Tell them how you want your payment schedule set up. I'll bet they take it. If they don't, hang up and wait for the next membership drive.

Wait 5 minutes you will get another person and they just might be interested in helping you.

I worked an N R A booth with one of their recruiters a couple of years ago and was amazed at how much slack he had to work with.

HEHE Mine was $100 in 1972. Of course that equaled 2 weeks pay back then.

dont remember the year i got mine but it was 200 bucks and one year to make payments.
