Not speaking for myself but at 50 yards with a target rifle I would suspect some of the shooters will have one hole groups, how do you score that. I often wondered how they were scored in matches anyway.

Record targets submitted for score in the case of a tie score between 2 or more targets in any class will be measured with a vernier caliper under magnification to determine the smallest overall group size in order to break the tie.

This sounds like a lot of fun!!!! Believe I'll give it a go although my 62 year old eyes and iron sights at 50 yards MAY require a larger target!!!

OK, I'm ready to send in my money for heavy barrel, scope and iron sight.

2 questions.
1) Can I buy a couple targets? Play the odds, etc.
2) Is the scoring bench style, group size only, or is position on the bull counted also?

Thanks,
Simon

NO RF here.
You should run a 22 CF cast only match. That would be more in line with the site purpose.

Simonpie it is bench only and you can only turn one target per person it is an NRA small bore target and it has 2 bulls eyes, one will be scored for score and the other for group size. you can copy the target as many times as you need for practice targets but the official target that you receive from me it the only one that will be scored.

Already did one. Not much participation. We shot two targets, one for group and one for closest to center. The closest to center was more challenging than one might think.
Cant remember the total entries or number of shots fired but remember the total agriget for all entries was about .75". That was at 100 yards.
Someone won with a Saco 222. I shot an 1885 Win in 22 Lovell and ended up about the middle of the pack.
