HELP!! lead slug in throat

Im reaching out for help.
I just got a new LEE 7mm soup can 6 banger mold.
I slugged a K98 carbine with a soft lead pill and noticed I got a little ring of lead stuck in the throat.
I can't get it out with a brush or patch.

What can I do to get out that ring of lead??

wrap your brush with 0000 steel wool. That does it for me every time. Lube the brush and wool with gun oil also.

Use a bore brush

Don't use steel wool, go get some copper chor boy and take care of it that way

Wood can loosen it up, like a sharpened dowel. Choreboy will take it out.

Chorboy......boresnake......bore brush. Any should remove it.

Should be able to get it by using an oversized bore brush. Push the brush in to the ring and then pull the brush out reversing directions. It should come out with the brush.

a bore brush wouldn't get it.
I'll try a Chore Boy next

If the Chore Boy doesn't get it, spray with PB Blaster and let soak overnight. Got this from the sticky on lead removal...charlie
