hi guys , has anyone used red rooster lube for full wadcutters ??
I am planning on loading a batch of .38 cadcutters over 2.5 grs of 700x ,
wonder how red rooster works with mid range loads as I only use the rooster with full magnum loads

tends to work best ( in my humble opinion ) with either the upper end of the spectrum or the lower end, while it seems to to fair in the middle the opposite ends is where it shines for me ( your mileage may vary )
my fav 38 load is with 148-ish wadcutter and 700x albeit a lil stiffer than your listed load ( 3.3 is mine ) while i have used rooster on them in the past ( with good results ) lately i've been using recluse's recipe and saving the rooster for better usages ( as once my meager stash is gone it's gone ,no longer in production ) low velocity wadcutters arent very demanding in lube applications so ....

When the 'Spirit Moves Me' I'll use liquid Rooster Jacket lube on any of the bullets I tumble lube. It's excellent on paper for the PP bullets. Negative side - it flacks off easily and gums up the seating dies
