Is this considered a good deal? Mostly for .45 acp, .44 mag, .357 and 38 spl. I've only pan lubed and LLA tumble lubed. I saw a sticky on it and thought it would be worth looking into. Thanks,

Not bad, little high but the machine looks its in nice condition.
i have 2 of them and one 450. I like the 45's better, just dont pull handle too hard or lube when its cold. You can actually swell the lube resivoir tube, dont ask me how i know.

Looks like it is in decent shape, watch S&S around here, you should be able to come up with one for much cheaper!

I prefer the 45 (if in good working order) to a newer 450 and even to a brand new 4500.
If you need one to look brand new, you'll have to spend the $$$ as your link...but just think, that's about the same price as a New 4500, so maybe it isn't too high, the problem is, if it were refurbished, is the paint hiding anything ?

While these 50+ year old tools are well built, it's still 50+ years old and seen 50+ years worth of use. I've posted some info and photos about the 45, that may help you...but it's really best to see it in person...or buy from a trusted source.

Now if you are OK with Ugly...bid on this one.

currently at $52 with 20 bids so far. This one looks OK mechanically, but is a krap shoot, because of the LACK of closeup photos and judging by the seller's choice of words, he knows nothing about lubesizers. I predict this one will end up going for about $80 plus ship.

The opening bid is ridiculous. If you are patient, you ought to be able to get a 45 for around $50, sometimes well under.

having only 21 hours left to bid ...doesnt seem like it's had any bids at all so far ( 0 bids ) that in it's self is very telling , yes it appears to be an original and in good shape ... is it worth that to you ? that's the true question , i myself assuredly would not pay the buy it now price ,btw ? the so called " Offered with low opening bid " is .... deception to state the least , i've seen cherry ones go/start for less than that ( complete with box and instructions as well as a couple of stix of lube ...) f.w.i.w. it's one of the newer models of 45's , the shoulder pivot pin, the sticker and the solid aluminum cap are all late model 45 traits

Very high in my opinion. I have 2 #45's that I have a total of $35.00 in both and not that long ago.

I paid $50 for mine. There were 2 of them, my buddy got the other. I wouldn't pan lube another boolit if it harelipped Santa Claus.

When looking for stuff on eBay, the key word is patience. Determine what you want to pay, and stick with it. Sure you may lose an item, but eventually you get what you want for the price you want to pay, or less.

The price is too high, the shipping is too high. 45's are good luber/sizers just don't get in a rush and pay too much.

I'd pass, you can find 45's in the 35-50 dollar range.
I picked one up on eBay last month for $35 + shipping.

I had a temper tantrum or as my wife would say "a $&@t fit" during a pan lubing session. Ended up giving 82 last month for one with the .429 sizer and top punch.

These are great machines but concur 100% - that opening bid is crazy. Personally, I'd have a hard time paying more than $75 as they are regularly available but that's just me. They are pretty easy to clean up so don't shy away from one that looks a little beat up.
