I have about $150 in Cabela's giftcards after the holidays.
Any good options at Cabela's for chronographs?
Thanks all.

I would get this

Unfortunately not from Cabelas, but less than the value of your cards. Sell cards for $135.00 and get this one. And make a box for it as Ajay and others learned that wads and chronographs don't play well together.

Sadly, you can't get this at Cabelas but this is the one I got - outside of an Oehler I think this might be the most bang for the buck.

Rainier, only one problem with that system. Their site says "It doesn’t matter if it’s a tiny .17 HMR or a rocket; if it’s supersonic, the SuperChrono gives an accurate reading of its velocity." What it reads is the sonic crack as it passes over the unit. Kinda takes it out of play for a lot of handgun rounds, or subsonic 300 Blackout, etc.

Looks like Cabelas has this... http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=739957&type=product&Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3FrecordsPerPag e%3D18%26No%3D0%26N%3D0%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt% 3Dchronograph%26search%3DSearch&No=0&Ntt=chronograph
Link to post about this box?
Does this solve the "wad problem"?

I vote for the CED M2 chronograph.

That is it, I missed it. Get it now man. Go through Ajay's thread and you will see what I am talking about. He cracked his and ended up making a box to shield it from flying wads.
