I got a british enfield at the gun show yesterday No 1 mark 111 back sight had windage adjustment never have noticed this on any before looks original to rifle not after market,any ideas on this? TIA barrrel

Many have the adjustable sight. Depends on where its made and what mark it is. I have a 1917 model which has the adjustable sight. Makes it a lot easier than playing with the front sight. The enfield barrels can vary a lot so it pays to slug them and so can the throats. When you find the right size boolit most shoot well. Have fun with it. Mel

rifle but it looks like it was assembled from a
