15 Feb Update 6:30 pm Again a big Thank You from us to you for your prayers. God has continued to permit Vicky's knee to heal. She probably is at 98 % and doing most everything as previous in the home. She is walking near 1/4 mile occasionally and strairs are getting easier. With patience, wisdom and God's help we expect all this to be past history.

Update 19 Jan 9:03 am Just returned from our 7 am service in Peregrino village. Want to say thank you everyone who took the time to remember Vicky in your prayers before the throne of God. Her knee is well and progressively getting better. This morning was the first time in months she felt she could walk to the street corner at the village and pass out Bible tracts to individuals. Thanks a bunch !

Update 31 Dec 6:50 am Wife came home yesterday. Operation ended up more extensive than the doc thought. Had to remove the miniscula for cleaning and rebuilding. Tie together other parts. After stated it looks correct again. She can walk unasisted again. Returns Friday for evalution. Thanks again for your prayers ! Mike in Peru

UPDATE At 7:39 I am writing this local time so Eastern USA.
Operation went fine. No complications. Surgeon said wife may return home tomorrow walking out. Monday for sure. Thanks for your prayers !
Mike

Good morning
My wife fell off the chair she was standing on and tore numerous items under and around the right knee cap. The doctors decided it would never heal correctly so today at 5pm will open that area to reconnect and repair.
We would appreciate your prayers.

Mike, first off, prayers sent. I had knee surgery back in 1986 and the doctor told me my knee would never be the same and I'd have problems the rest of my life. My knee does bother me some but I still hunt deer, small game, walk a lot, and get around pretty good. I really put a lot of effort into rehab and it paid off. Make sure your wife keeps after it and she'll get a lot better outcome. Last, NEVER use a chair to stand on....sorry, I spent a lot of years working as a safety manager (and I'm guilty of doing it myself, not wearing safety glasses chain sawing, etc). I appreciate it when someone politely points out that I'm doing something unsafe. Let us know how she does. The Best to you and her.

I think knee surgery means another gun purchase is needed. Good luck.

Best wishes. Had to go through the same thing and in the end (after recovery and therapy) the knee was OK. Good luck.

I have missed this need for prayer, but am belatedly adding mine for a perfect recovery.
