What GCs dia I should use on CB for Mosins?

I got Lee TL312-1602R and 312-180R molds and shoot unsized/no GC bullets from my Mosins. Now I want to try CBs w/GCs but what I found are .308 dia. All my M/Ns got 0.311/0.315 bores and I think 0.308 GCs a little bit small in dia to prevent leading from hotter powder's loads. What size GCs you use? Share you experience please.

use 30 cal gas checks. Your gas check diameter is controlled by you during sizing.

+1, I use Hornady 30 Cal, no problems. Only problem was when I tried to shoot a GC boolit with no gas check in My Mosin Nagant. It leaded like crazy.

I use AL checks from Pat's 30cal check maker. Sent him a note that the checks were to small for the .314 Boolits. He made me a new male die part at no cost to form larger checks.
