Hello Folks,
My wife bought a 44 Rem Mag BFR for me for Christmas. Beautiful gun! I'm really looking forward to shooting it, although it will be a few days. Just FYI, it's advertised as a five inch revolver, but the barrel measures 4-1/2 inches. I like the shorter barrel better, so I'm pleased with it.
The grips feel good, but I'm considering buying a set of the Hogue Pau Ferro grips sold by Magnum Research. They are completely different though. The BFR rubber grips cover the back strap, and remind me of the Jordan Trooper. The Hogue grips have an exposed back strap and finger grooves.

Have any of you used the Hogue hardwood grips? What do you think of them?
Are there other hardwood grips you would recommend instead?
Take care, Tom
