Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mike, and may God richly bless you in your sacrifice to bring the joy of the Lord to those in other countries.

Howdy all !
Summer here. But then Arequipa is called "the city of eternal spring". At this altitude it does not get hot.. 70-75 is the average and always dry. We are 17 degrees south of the equator so in the tropics and thus seldom below 50 even at night. We are blessed !

Who would have thought when I was a child that I could exchange information with someone doing the Lord's work in Peru! When I was 8 or 10 years old in the early 50's, Peru was so far away that you might have fallen off the end of the earth. Now we can exchange Merry Christmas almost in the same minute. I guess someday I'll sit down and make lists of all the good and bad things technology does for me. Reading your posts, Mike, makes my life better. God's best blessing on you.

I heard there are places down there where they don't even have roofs on the houses because it never rains. I thought that was crazy. But I guess if you don't need it......

Oh almost forgot, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
