Hey guys. I've been looking at the NOE 358-135-G-RF as a possible middleweight boolit for 9mm and .38 Special. Any body here use this boolit in either of those cartridges? Oddly this mold is listed under the .355-9mm section of their catalog but the model number indicates it would have a nominal diameter of .358 which would be perfect for shooting as is or sizing down to .357.

I have been eying one of those my self. There are a lot of 9's out there that have big bores, for example my Sig P226 has a .357 bore and likes .358 boolits.

Hey, I see this is an old thread, so I want to bump it to the top again and see if anyone got any knowledge one this one.
I just got my mold handles and am ready to go.
Thanks, bb

Update; OH now I see EXILE`s post on the NOE-124

I use the NOE 358-135 RF. Not much different from the FN version. It is an excellent boolit for 9mm but I haven't used it in the 38 yet. It is my most accurate boolit in my 9mm. I see no reason it wouldn't work well in 38.
It drops right at .358 for me using range scrap.

For posterity: I'm using this bullet with good results in both .38 Special and 9mm. It drops about .3585 or .359 for me, from a soft alloy, and sizes perfectly to .358 for use in both of those calibers. The shape feeds consistently in both of our 9mm pistols. LBS

I have the mold, and it casts .360 with linotype which is great for my SIG. I haven't got around to accuracy testning of the loads, but it will be tested in both the SIG P226, P-08 and P-38 pistols as well as the S&W revolver.
