View Full Version : Oregon Cast 38-40 bullet?

Is this their own bullet or a copy of a availble mold. Right now this with only 5 grs. of red dot shows the best acc. out of my Colt lightning with a less than perfect bore. 180 grs. I would like to get the mold.

I think you are talking about Oregon Trail/Lazercast bullets. To the best of my knowledge they use the same commercial casting machines and molds that I do here....they are made by Magma Engineering(www.magmaengr.com, e-mail: rclausen@ix.netcom.com),they are designed primarily for use with commercial casting machines, but Magma can alter/machine the molds to fit either Lyman or RCBS mold handles for hand casting. Their equipment is quite pricey but it is of excellent quality.
