I finally had to admit that my marksmanship sucks so bad that even the finest Shiloh Sharps buffalo gun couldn't help me. I bought one of those fine Uberti self-shucking lever guns in .45-75 and the boys here have been most helpful in helping me work up loads and boolits to feed this monster! I may not be able to shoot like the BPCR snipers but by Godfrey - I hope to at least look like one! My next mission is being able to pack enough lead that I can lay into a herd of buffalo and have them all on the ground before those rolling block and Sharps guys can even get loaded! :)
This is going to be a Quigley style ammo belt when it's done - or another failed project that will be sneaked into the garbage if it doesn't turn out:

Do you guys have any cool ammo belts? By all means, post them here!
And - if anyone can spare a minute...I seem to have sewn my thumb to a piece of leather! Any help is sincerely appreciated!
