Back in my late teens saw a guy do t hat at a party, he neglected the fact that his jeans would trap some of the gas next to his skin... lost a lot of hair

When I was in my teens we had a party at a friend's house - as usual the parents were out of town for the weekend. The beer flowed and the guys got goofy. One guy decided to burn off a poot and dropped all his laundry to do the chore. He laid on his back, lit a Bic lighter and gave a mighty shove. Out came the gas and POOF went the flame. And then.......our hero began rolling on the floor and screaming like he was being killed. Apparently his rear vent did not close down when the gas perssure slowed. The flames of the gas that was burning outside him traveled up to and INSIDE him toward the source of the gas. The guy scorched the inside of his ****! He was in so much pain someone (not me!) had to take him to the ER for treatment of 2nd degree burns in his colon. Got no idea how he explained that one at the ER, or even at home. The story made headlines among our crowd and he still gets reminded of his adventure to this day, some 50 years later.

That commercial aired during the Super Bowl a few years ago. I couldn't believe that Anheuser-Busch aired it during the Super Bowl. Evidently a lot of people felt that it was in very bad taste because it was the one and only time I ever saw it on TV.

As a Carriage Driver I am familiar with the situation, gave up smoking, and usually refer to it as the horse making an editorial comment. Historically carriages and sleighs had lamps lit with candles, kerosene or acetylene (like a miners hat) for night time use and charcoal burning foot warmers for cold weather.
