I wanted to use my Lee 170 gr, 30 cal, Flat point in 30/30 win. I made a "dummy round", checked brass in gun before seating bullit, Seated bullit and I noticed it closed hard the last 1/8". When I removed the round I notice lite rifling 3/4 the length of the nose of the bullit. There is no way I could seat it deep enough, is this a problem? Has anyone used this bullit in a 30/30 Win. Advice Please , Thanks

I got that one, and these two... the 311291 and the MP .308 hunting boolit. They all engrave pretty hard in both my 94 Win and my Handi rifle. Everybody who answered my thread about it says it's a good thing.

Beagle, well I was thinking the same thing. The question, is it a bore rider is answered! I am Not getting as heavy a marking as you.

I fixed it this way, so I could still PC them and they would fit.
