I have a number of 7.62x39 OFB boxer brass cases with a headstamp of what I take to be month and year (10 at the 11 o'clock position, 13 at 1 o'clock and 7.62x39 at 6 o'clock.

Anyone know the maker of this brass?

Thanks, but given that this is Boxer and those are all Combloc military headstamps, I didn't find anything like the brass I have. I do have some of the NNY (privi) military brass - berdan primed.

Try this link Ed: http://cartridgecollectors.org/?page=headstampcodes

A pic could help too.

Here ya go. As I wrote - 10 at 11 o'clock*, 13 at 1 o'clock, 7.62x39 at 6 o'clock. Bulgarian made in 2013? South African from 2010? Something else entirely??

* It actually looked closer to being 10 and 2, but I Thought 10 at 10 might be a bit confusing.

Ed your headstamp looks just like the headstamp from this ammo (http://www.sgammo.com/product/surplus/400-rd-case-762x39-fmj-122-grain-lead-core-premium-ammo-arsenal-bulgaria-non-magneti#).

That looks like nice ammo... but for $200 for 400 rounds it should be!

Prvi is the least expensive Boxer/brass carried by Graf's. It is almost $220.00 per 400. They all go up from there. $200.00 for Boxer/Brass ammo is a good price these days. Berdan/Steel is lots cheaper, but not reloader friendly.

Cabelas has Herters gold (made by S&B, if memory serves) for $9.95/20.

Good price if you're looking to bolster your boxer 7.62x39 brass supply.

You can pick it up in the store to save on shipping, but you need to pay sales tax so it might be a wash.

Priced as with Prvi from Graf's. With Graf's only charging $6.95 for shipping, I suspect there is no contest except for those states without a sales tax. Personally, I'd buy brass, either new or OFB when available (which is how I wound up with the original question, I found lots of this Bulgarian headstamped brass in a lot of OFB I bought).
