2 days left on an auction, current bid $100.00. Says slightly used but that could mean anything. Downside . . . 220 volt but someone here could be interested.

Nope, it's not me selling, I just noticed it while looking for molds. I have no connection in any way.

Pity it's on the wrong side of the world, or I'd grab it. "Lightly used"? Perhaps, but the owner must be a bit messy as there's lots of lead spattered around it.

Just looked at the picture again. Oh no, besides 220 volt it looks like it's set up for a south paw. Handles on the left.

Not for this southpaw! I hold mold in left, so I want to operate lever with my right.

Jerry, for some reason John (winelover) couldn't see bidders names. I sent him a PM telling him he bid against a CastBoolits member, he wrote back asking how I knew that. He sent me a PM this morning with a cut & paste of what he did see.

Seems odd, only thing I can think of is he hadn't bought anything from Gun Broker thus the "NR" by his name.

You've raised an interesting point, and I'm curious now. I'm normally right-handed, although I swing an axe/baseball bat/cricket bat left-handed. I hold the mold in my left hand and lift the lever with my right. If ladle-pouring the ladle is in my right hand.

How about the rest of you?

Oh, and nice buy, winelover.

Exact same here, well except for the axe, baseball bat and whatever a cricket bat is. You hit crickets with bats?

Bottom pouring or ladle, the mold is in my left hand. I am very right handed, can't even pick my nose with the left but the mold does just fine there.

Hhmmm . . . A bat just for crickets, got a picture of one of them?

I looked up that auction when there was 13 min left...I considered a bid, but it was more than I want to spend on something like that right now...even though it was a screaming deal. I'm glad a fellow castbooliteer got it :)

Might as well hit crickets, as it doesn't work very well for zombies.

You stick your mold up your nose?:kidding:

so where do you plug it in? 220.

Mine is 110, the rcbs pro-melt furnace is incredible.

When I built the house, I had a 220 outlet installed in the garage for my air compressor.
