Got to rooting around making an inventory of "shooting/reloading stuff" and found a jug of #105 that I had bought some time in the past. Posted on the label to use AA#5 data, and it looks a lot like Unique, or at least, as I remember Unique looking (probably the only boolit shooter that has not shot Unique since it came in the square steel cans).

Has anyone shot any of the #105? Looking for plinker loads for 38 spl or a bunch ofa other stuff if need be.

By the by, 16.5 grains of the WC820 FAST (think HS-7) behind the 250 RNFP three crimp groove boolit does very well in my Ruger SRH and RH. Wish I had another jug, it has done ok in other loads in the 357 Mag

Sticker shock is sure going to catch up with me when all my milsurp is gone.

TC, I have printouts from two different times from the Bartlett site.
#105 (new) Use AA #5 data from 12/18/00

#105 (new) A flake type powder, which can be loaded using AA #5 data. This is one of the first lots of #5 equivalent as manufactured by Hercules in the late 1980s. Seems to be faster than today's #5 ball-type powder. Slightly faster than Unique, and slightly slower than Green Dot. from 5/6/2006...Ray
