Wow, I am impressed with my new Accurate mold (and my other one also) and in the speed which it was completed! I contacted Tom on 12/02/13 about two new GC designs and he replied on the 4th with the new designs and I ordered a 4 cavity mold with 2 of each. On the 7th the mold was ready. I received it on the 10th, fired up the pot and started dropping little gems. (I first cleaned the mold and ran it through 3 hot/cold cycles and on the first cast it made perfect bullets.) I only had a few rejects and they were due to splashing a bit of lead into the adjacent cavity and causing a wrinkle. I am one happy camper so far, now just need to get out to try them in my Ruger #1 when we have a nice day. If they shoot as well as the mold makes boolits, I have it made.

What are the bullet weights, and what alloy did you use?

keep us posted. I shoot the R#1 and an 1885 Winchester that shoot it. My interest is accuracy, at 100 then at 200 yds. Plain based, of course.

The 41-260D is running at 260.5 grs on average. The 41-320A is running at 321 grs. That is with gas check and lubed. The alloy I am using is 3 COWW to 1 Lino with a very small amount of 95-5 solder to help fill out.
