Had huevos rancheros twice with the bride, a big bowl with warm tortillas, and froze what left in the 10 qt. pot.
We'll have green chile for a while. There is 5 pounds of lean pork in this batch. Sliced up a pork loin, and cut the meat off of some porkchops with some fat. I brown and simmer the bones. Adds GREAT flavor

That looks Awesome!! I have to remember your trick with browning the bones. Makes a lot of sense.

I buy a 1/4 of beef every year. I ask for the bare bones to roast and make stock with. I paid for them might as well use them

If you have the space, your stock will freeze well.

Oh Shiloh, I have the space for bones, it's getting the meat that bothers me, LOL.
