For a non-shooting related hobby (so not a restricted export- router cut plywood frames) I am interested in shipping ten boxes from LA to Victoria Australia. These boxes are 23 inches by 27 by 7, weight is 42 pounds. In metric 575mm by 675mm by 175mm, 19.05kg.

Does any body do regular business like this and is able to suggest a company? Non-perishable and speed is not a concern so sea is fine.

Thanks in advance to the cast boolit hive mind.

Did you try DB Schenker? They can usually get Fedex prices that even Fedex can't touch.

Start scouting around for a freight forwarder or consolidator so they'll fill up a connex and send a bunch of different orders along with yours.

Thank you, I have sent an email to them about partial sea container freight to enquire about a quote.

Will do, the DB Schenker company above seems to be like this. Is there any particular company you have used or would avoid?

it might be easier to find an importer on your end, and work backwards from there.
