I recently bought a pristine Enfield No 4 manufactured in Feb 54 that had be placed in a sporter stock. I found a new set of military wood on Ebay. I know I need the metal furniture to put it back in military configuation. Does anyone know a good source for these parts.

Since I gather that Enfields are a finicky rifle when it comes to stocks, is there any US gunsmiths that specialize in accurrizing the No4. I don't mind paying for good gunsmith since I got into this rifle at very reasonable price.

Thanks in advance for you input.

Try Springfield Sporters. Last parts I got from them all appeared to be in excellent to near new condition. From what I've heard about them it's a one man operation and he has his parts scattered in more than one building. And right now it's winter in pennsylvania. Frank

Best source I know of for milsurp parts, especially British/Enfield rifles.
