I want to slug the barrel on my 38 55 win What do I need for lead to do it Can I use stick on WW or is there something better

About a 40 cal whatever hunk of lead (pistol bullet, fishing sinker, roundball, etc.) will work as long as it's soft. Lube the bore. Use a good steel rod with a brass tip or use a pistol case for the tip that will fit into the bore. Start the slug with a brass punch and mallet. Push it through. Measure.
