Anybody else having trouble finding fast powder? I prefer Bullseye and Unique, but I'd settle for 231 or HP38. Been looking for several months now. Seems all I can find is 4227 and slower. Alliant rifle powders, but not Bullseye. Maybe they produce in batches, and slow stuff is in the pipeline right now?

I had a friend at the last gun show in B'ham that paid over $200 for the only 8 lb. caddy of B'Eye that was in the show.

Some powders are very difficult to find right now. ( along with a lot of other ammo , reloading items )

the powders do seem to roll in in waves.
recently I have seen unique [nabbed 8 pounds] and red-dot but no rifle powders.

Since they sell quickly aren't they all fast right now?

Haven't looked in a month or so but local major gun shop here had a reasonable supply of powders. Shotgun powders here were never in short supply and since they work well in handguns that is what I buy. Eight pounds of Promo for 100 bucks.

I have not seen a real shortage of pistol powders, with 231, HP38, and 296 all on the shelf at the local store.

Luckily, I am sitting on 24lb of 231, 16lb of Unique, and 16lb of 296, so I havent paid just a whole lot of attention.

Powder Valley has 8 lb jugs of "PB" in stock right now; that's about the only fast powder they have.

The only thing that's fast anymore is how it flies OFF the shelf once it DOES get stocked !!!
